Yoga Revolution by Yoga With Adriene

I try to do yoga most days, I actually feel yoga is helpful.  What I hope for yoga is to bring yoga “off the mat”.  There is a lot of yoga practises like breathing, posture, etc we can apply in our everyday life.  Healthy lifestyle is not just eating healthily, your environment, stress level, you happiness, including your interaction with everything around you.
Most morning I will practise Yoga with Adriene and recently I decided to follow her Yoga Revolution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nvlxn0EnmbM&list=PLui6Eyny-Uzzl1q-GskVUZp6Fk8nIr9rK

  1. Dear Piangt. My name is Betül. I stumbled upon your blog when searching about RP. I have so many fears about it, in the beginning I thought that it is always diagnosed at early ages. Then I am sure now it is not the fact, you were diagnosed at 26. I am 33, my uncle has RP since his childhood. I behaved so ignorantly and did not take any genetic test. For a year my one eye adjusts light later in the dark and functions a bit poor in the dark I think. tHow and when did your symptoms start and what complaints direct you to see the doctor?

    1. Hi! I realised since I was a teenager that I can’t see in the dark. My parents told me I am scared of dark because I have no family history at all. Luck was on my side, my brother in law told an ophthalmologist friend, my sis in law has dark blindness. Dark blindness is a sign for a lot of eye problems and I went for a checkup and found out. I really hope you are doing well. Is not easy, but try to keep yourself busy with the things you enjoy and people you love

  2. Thank you! My signs started last year. For 8 years since my myopia has appeared, i see opthalmologist properly, every year. Unfortunately, I learned in my last visit that RP does not show itself in proper eye examinations. My retinal tomography and vision field test seems normal the doctor said. He added, RP is a complicated situation and has different types and symptoms, if i have a problem with one eye in the dark, ERG will illuminate what is the exact problem. Now, i have no courage to take this test. I think i need sometime to be ready. I will try to apply your recommendations as much as i can. Thanks so much for sharing and encouraging me. Best wishes.

    1. Betul, one step at time! It took my 10 years to be able to openly talk about my condition and be able to give others my support! You can do this!

  3. Thank you! I pray, if it’s bad, it progress

  4. Thank you for replying! I pray, if it’s bad, it progresses slowly and the God gives me the courage and perseverance that you have. And i pray i can cope with my anxiety.
